I hope you are enjoying your summer break. This message is an opportunity to address some questions you may have regarding registration, back to school activities, and other important information for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year.
The 2025-2026 school year will begin on Thursday, August 7, 2025.

Returning TL Students – Registration opens up July 14th
In Person Registration for NEW K-12 Students or Anyone Needing Assistance – July 16th from 3:00-7:00 at Twin Lakes High School.
ALL STUDENT MUST BE REGISTERED
ALL returning students must register online at www.tlschools.org. using the online Student Registration Link. If you registered your kindergarten student during kindergarten registration, you will need to go back into Skyward using your username and password and fill out a few additional forms. If you are having difficulty logging in, please call your child’s school. They will be happy to assist you through the registration process. School offices will be open beginning July 21st from 8:00-3:00. Feel free to call or stop by the school if you have any questions.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation sign-up is part of the online registration process. In order to have bus pick-up the first day of school, you must complete registration by July 25th.
NEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS (K-5)
Please call or stop by the school your child will be attending. If you are unsure what elementary your child will attend, please call our transportation office at 574-583-7513.
NEW MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS (6-8)
Email an RMS counselor or the RMS counseling secretary to set up an appointment. You may also call the RMS Counseling Office starting July 21st at 574-583-5552. The office is open between 8:00 and 3:00.

NEW TWIN LAKES HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS (9-12)
Transcripts are required prior to enrollment appointments for students who will be in grades 10-12 in order to accurately schedule them. For incoming freshman, we can make enrollment appointments without transcripts.
Parents may email the guidance secretary throughout the summer and provide the following information so transcripts can be requested. Ellen Salomon – esalomon@twinlakes.k12.in.us
· Parent name and phone number
· Student name, date of birth, grade for the 25-26 school year, and name of previous school
Please call the high school guidance office to schedule an appointment at 574-583-7108 or email a TLHS counselor. Office staff will return on July 21st.

PROOF OF RESIDENCY
You must provide the following documents if registering a new student or have a change of address:
Two Proofs of Residency – examples: utility bill, lease, mortgage, insurance bill, medical bill, or court document.

TRANSFER TUITION STUDENTS
Any parent seeking to enroll their child as a transfer tuition student must make arrangements prior to registering at the respective schools. Transfer tuition forms are available at each of the schools and at the school corporation office at 565 S. Main Street.
