TLHS Make A Wish Club and Book Club will LIGHT UP THE NIGHT by selling neon bracelets at the Varsity Football Game on Friday, September 6th. Bracelets are $2 each or 3 for $5. Proceeds will be donated to a TLSC Family who lost their home in a fire this week.

Twin Lakes Garden Club is having a Fall Flower Bulb Fundraiser. Plant these bulbs this fall and enjoy them in the spring for several years! Garden Club earns 50% of each sale!

The TLHS Welding students will be hosting Oaklawn 2nd graders on Friday, November 22nd. Stay tuned for photos!

Weekly Athletic Schedule for 8/26-8/31

Lilly Milleman, freshman, received Division Champion, Blue Star Award, and Grand Champion Music Project. Lilly sang “Let Joy Awaken” for her vocal solo.

The TLHS Class of 2009 will be celebrating their 15 Year Reunion on Saturday, June 22, 2024. The patio at Kopacetic (12195 US-421, Monticello) has been reserved from 4-6 pm. Significant others are welcome, and food and drinks will be available for purchase at Kopacetic. No RSVP is required.

Congratulations to Mr. Manson and Mr. Bulow and the Twin Lakes High School Band. Twin Lakes Band is a recipient of the Indiana State School Music Association All-Music Award for the 2023-2024 school year.

Mrs. White-Bird had 100% pass rate on the students written and skills test for their CNA. Congratulations to the Twin Lakes, Delphi and Frontier students on their accomplishment.

Ms. Hodge took her JAG students to Lafayette today to compete at their conference. JAG Students did well today. 1. Josselyn “Ruby” Reyes placed 2nd in Digital Design, an event where she designed an event invitation through digital software. 2. Alexandra Salazar placed 3rd for Outstanding Senior, an event where she competed against other regional seniors using her own personal and academic achievements. 3. Kaitlyn Whitaker and Alexandra Salazar placed 2nd for Entrepreneurship Planning, an event where they created a business and marketing plan for an original business. 4. Twin Lakes submitted a chapter event for social media, where Skylar Spicka, Tanner Coble, and Chance Cudworth created an Instagram page to promote JAG. They placed in 3rd for the category.

Purdue’s Broadband Team has the goal of enhancing broadband access for all of Indiana’s residents and are asking for help to have community members validate their internet accessibility. Results from the accessibility and speed tests will then be compiled by the Broadband Equity, Adoption, and Deployment program and nearly $870 million dollars will be spent to help improve broadband access across the state for Hoosiers.
