PSAT date Moved to October 13

Dear Students and Parents

Please read this important update regarding our upcoming PSAT administration.

To best support our academic calendar, we are moving the PSAT testing date from Wednesday, October 7 to Tuesday, October 13. Shifting this date allows teachers and students to cleanly wrap up the first nine-week grading period without interruption before moving into testing and starting the second nine weeks.

Testing Scope and Rationale

This year, all students in grades 9, 10, and 11 will take the PSAT exam.

Administering this exam across all three grade levels provides critical benchmark data that allows our faculty to track academic growth over time. Furthermore, PSAT results serve as strong predictors for future SAT performance and Advanced Placement (AP) success, helping us identify individual student strengths and target areas where extra support may be needed.

Schedule for October 13

• 8:05 AM – 11:10 AM (Testing Window): Students in grades 9, 10, and 11 will report directly to their designated testing rooms upon arrival.

• 11:10 AM (Full School Session Begins): All students, including 12th graders, must be in session and on campus by 11:10 AM.

• Afternoon Classes: Following testing, the entire school (Grades 9 - 12) will operate on a shortened class schedule. All class periods will meet during the remainder of the day.
